In 1960, Shuqualak, Mississippi native Jimmy Prince purchased a petroleum marketing business in Philadelphia, establishing Prince Oil Company. With one truck and one employee, he embarked on what would become a rewarding journey.
Although there were many bumps in the road, Prince persevered, and his work ethic paid off. He built the company on core values of putting God first, a commitment to excellent customer service, community involvement, and a motto of “whatever it takes.”
In 2001, the company was sold to his three youngest children, and it has continued to expand while staying true to its roots.
Today, Prince Oil operates 11 Junction convenience stores across Mississippi, offering quality food and fuel. The company also supplies an extensive dealer network representing Shell, Chevron, and Marathon throughout Mississippi and Alabama.
Prince Oil and Junction remain indebted and grateful to their loyal customers and dedicated employees over the years.
